All double girder overhead travelling cranes can be manufactured to suit individual requirements.
The basis behind the double girder is the ability to increase the Safe Working Load (SWL) and working span. The other main feature is that you can achieve a much greater height of lift. This is mainly due to the fact that the hoist is buit into its own motorised trolley. This in turn runs on rails welded to the top of the beams so allows the load to be lifted in between the beams.
