Manual overhead travelling cranes can be supplied in either top running or underslung configurations. These cranes are normally single girder and for loads not exceeding 10 tonne. These cranes can offer a very cost effective way of providing a crane system in the smaller workshop or small productive areas. The only downside is that they are slow in comparison and operator fatigue must be taken into account if being used for long periods.
