The TIRFOR T-500 light duty range of machines are recommended for applications where limited space and portability are important criteria. The T-500 series are compact and lighter than the standard TU range, easy to handle and operate whilst still giving a high mechanical advantage to lift, pull, lower and position in complete safety with unlimited length of wire rope.
All Tirfor machines are carefully manufactured and assembled to very strict quality control standards and each machine is individually tested to 50% overload and a test certificate issued. The Tirfor Maxiflex steel wire rope supplied with the machine is not a standard production rope, it has been specially designed to withstand the immense gripping power of the Tirfor jaws, and manufactured to extremely fine tolerances demanded by Tirfor Limited for use with the Tirfor machine.
Test certificates are also issued for the steel wire rope and terminal fittings.
